The company committed to reducing the intensity of its water use by 10 percent, natural gas use by 20 percent, electricity use by 12 percent, and greenhouse gas emissions by 20 percent by 2020. In additon, the company committed to improving team member health and safety by reducing severe incidents by 10 percent year over year, achieving annual scores of 90 percent or better on the company’s Animal Health and Welfare Scorecard and ensuring 100 percent compliance from suppliers with its Supplier Code of Business Ethics and Conduct by 2020.
