Sika acquires business of Cufadan Marine, Denmark

The acquisition of Cufadan, who is active in the field of acoustic flooring systems, not only enables Sika to extend their core competences - bonding, sealing, sound absorption - but also to enlarge their product range in this key market, Marine. The product range includes up to date chemical process materials used for bonding and sealing, direct glazing, total deck systems as well as fire-proof cable-duct systems. As noise and vibration control are becoming increasingly important in shipbuilding, Sika is pleased to take part in this rapidly growing deckcovering market.

Cufadan's products meet the most stringent quality requirements of international Marine Certification societies. Cufadan's systems are used by most major shipbuilders and are successfully employed on cruise ships, ferries, working boats, luxury yachts and off-shore rigs.
