Sika proposes unchanged dividend of 23 % to Annual General Meeting

The Board of Directors of Sika Finanz AG decided at its meeting of February 22, 2002 to propose to the Annual General Meeting of May 8, 2002 a dividend of 23 %, which is un-changed relative to the previous year.

In addition, the change of the name of the holding 'Sika Finanz AG' domiciled in Baar / ZG (Switzerland) to 'Sika AG' will also be proposed. In the past, Sika Finanz AG has frequently been mistaken for a financial institution, because of its name. However, it has always been a pure industry holding. As a consequence of Sika Finanz AG's change of name, it will be nec-essary to change the name of the parent company in Zurich, currently 'Sika AG', to 'Sika Schweiz AG'.
