Fortis opens a Branch in Denmark

The Copenhagen Branch will deliver business services to medium-sized entreprises, with an emphasis on internationally active companies with complex financial needs. In particular, the Branch will focus on businesses seeking multiple banking services, such as international credit facilities, international cash management, treasury products, factoring, trade finance, export & project finance, trust services and subsequently leasing.

The Branch will be headed by Christian B. Andreasen, who joined Fortis in December 2005. Christian has previously held corporate responsibilities for other Danish banks in Denmark, amongst them Forstaedernes Bank A/S and Jyske Bank A/S
