-- Comair is a Delta Connection carrier and wholly owned subsidiary
of Delta Air Lines. Based in Cincinnati, Comair's main hub is at
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
-- With a team of 6,400 dedicated aviation professionals, Comair
operates 920 flights a day to approximately 110 cities in the
United States, Canada and the Bahamas.
-- Comair served a record number of customers in 2005, with
13.1 million flying the airline.
-- Comair serves Delta's major hubs in Atlanta (51 daily departures)
and Cincinnati (263). The airline also has a concentrated focus
in the strategically important Northeast markets of New York's
LaGuardia Airport (44), Washington, D.C.'s Reagan National
Airport (22) and Boston's Logan International Airport (47).
-- Comair helped pioneer the regional jet era by introducing
Bombardier CRJ regional jets to North America in 1993. Comair's
fleet transitioned to an all-jet operation on September 1, 2002.
-- Currently, Comair operates an all-jet fleet of 168 Bombardier CRJ
regional jets. That fleet includes a mixture of 31 40-seat,
110 50-seat and 27 70-seat versions of the aircraft.
-- For more than a decade, Comair has received the Federal Aviation
Administration's (FAA) Diamond Award, recognizing the airline's
outstanding commitment to excellence in aircraft maintenance and

-- Comair was founded in 1977 in Cincinnati as a small commuter
airline with three propeller-driven Piper Navajo aircraft. Comair
