The Danish Ministry of Justice/Civil Affairs Authority has approved the
amendment of the Carlsberg Foundation's charter, including section 14, article
1, which previously required the Carlsberg Foundation to hold at least 51% of
the share capital of Carlsberg A/S. This article has now been amended so that
in future the Carlsberg Foundation must hold at least 51% of the votes and more
than 25% of the share capital.
Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement of 27 April 2007
presenting the application to amend the charter in greater detail.
