G4S CASH SERVICES (FRANCE) SAS
G4S the international security solutions group announces the disposal of G4S
Cash Services (France) SAS to Loomis France Holdings SAS for a cash
consideration of €24.4 million(1).
Although the French cash services business has a relatively strong position in
the Paris market, its modest overall market share means that it is unlikely to
meet, on any reasonable timeframe, the group's strategic objective, which is to
attain either a number one or two position in each of its national cash services
markets.

(1) €3.4m of the total cash consideration is to be held in escrow pending
