Foundry Networks to Present On Constructing High Performance and Secure Unified Networks At the Technology Convergence Conference

Foundry's Val Oliva, director of Product Management for the Enterprise Business Unit, will lead this informative 40 minute session at the conference.

Before 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) was a standard, Mr. Oliva lead the 10GbE efforts at Foundry. He was a 10GEA Vice President, a Member of the Board of Directors with the 10GEA, and the Chair of the 10GEA Technical Committee. Mr. Oliva led the efforts to demonstrate the first and the largest 10GbE network vendor interoperability.

Prior to Foundry, Mr. Oliva held a Product Line Management position at Network Equipment Technology. He spent 10 years building IP networks since 1988, and was employed as a Network Architect and Network Manager at Hewlett-Packard and Bay Networks, respectively.
