Group GACS acquires Siegers Elektro from Heijmans

Heijmans Belgium acquired Siegers Elektro in 2003 with the objective of strengthening its position in the Belgian private sector and carrying out combined works with Van den Berg, a component of Heijmans Belgium. Van den Berg is increasingly focusing on the pipe construction market by installing networks for utility companies and infrastructure, however. Therefore possibilities to carry out combined works turned out to be more limited than originally expected.
