Process Innovation Vision Award Honors Anoto Group AB and Actelion Pharmaceuticals, Ltd.

Waltham, MA December 17, 2007 - Anoto, pioneering leader of digital pen and
paper technology, and Actelion Pharmaceuticals, Ltd., an independent
biopharmaceutical company have won the coveted 2007 Vision Award bestowed as
part of the 2007 Process Innovation Award program. The Vision Award recognizes
a technology implementation that has the greatest potential for changing a
business or social process.

Actelion applies Anoto Digital Pen and Paper technology to send handwritten
notes during clinical trials into a workflow scenario that provides faster and
more secure data capture, gives trial investigators more personal time with
patients in testing and results in faster conclusions. This technology
advancement will give Actelion a significant edge in speeding up its clinical
development, final approval of new drugs and beating its competitors to market.
Actelion has many clinical trials operating simultaneously. All of their
current Phase 2 and 3 clinical trials involve using the data collected from the
Anoto Digital Pen.

- “We are extremely honored to have been recognized by the Process Innovation
Award judges, for our technology,” said Ebba Åsly Fåhraeus, Anoto VP Sales &
Marketing Forms. “Actelion is a well-regarded biopharmaceutical firm
investigating new drugs to treat serious diseases. We're glad that we can
assist them in gathering the critical data necessary to bring to market new
treatments to help those afflicted”.

Anoto and the Actelion implementation were selected by an independent panel of
industry experts based on process improvements that led to gains in at least
one of the following areas: productivity, profitability, ability to adapt to
market conditions, or competitive standing/market share.

Enterprise Innovator, a premier publication focused on technology innovation in
the enterprise (www.enterpriseinnovator.com), sponsored the 2007 Process
Innovation Awards, which were created by Kinetic Information LLC and are now in
their 11th year.

- “We are honored to sponsor such a coveted award program and chose to be part
of the 2007 series because it rewards innovative enterprise applications that
achieve business benefits, and illuminates such an important area of
information technology expertise for our readers”, stated Harold Abraham,
Deputy Editor, EnterpriseInnovator.com.
