Ukrainian subsidiary of Olympic Entertainment Group (OEG) opened a new Olympic Casino in Kyiv investing more than EEK 17 mln (more than EUR 1 mln). Recently opened slot casino has been named Olympic Casino Nyvky and it is located in the highly populated urban area in Kyiv near Nyvky metro station. The casino, which has 184 square meters of floor space and is designed in the underwater style, has 38 modern slot machines and a bar area. Olympic Entertainment Group entered the Ukrainian market in November 2004. After acquiring 5 casinos of Eldorado, one of the most known casino operators in Ukraine, in September 2007, the company has now more than 650 employees in the country. The acquisition, which cost €9.2 million (approximately EEK 144 mln), enabled the company to enter also the market of table operations in Ukraine.
