About the Author

After the surviving the horrors of World War II in Europe, the author and his wife came to America. There they began a new life by rebuilding their dreams and starting a family. Thanks to the help and kindess of the American people, they succeeded. Both of them worked hard and raised their children to be honest and generous, and to be proud to be Americans. After retiring from the University of Chicago where he worked as a medical research assistant, the author finally devoted some more time to reading and writing poetry.
