(Nasdaq:ISSI), a leader in advanced memory solutions, today introduced their first DDR2 (double data rate) SDRAMs, the IS43DR32800A, and the IS43DR32801A, 256Mb devices. These devices are the industry's first 256Mb DDR2 SDRAMs with a 32 bit bus.

This 1.8V device is organized as 8Mx32, with speeds up to 400Mhz (DDR2-800), providing data transfer of up to 6.4 gigabytes/sec in 64 bit systems.
This 256Mb DDR2 DRAM is used in a variety of high volume applications including networking and telecommunication equipment, HDTV, LCD TV, set-top boxes, hard disk drives, automotive and digital consumer applications.
Price and Availability
For quantities of 10,000, the IS43DR32800A and IS43DR32801A, in 126 pin BGA package with a 0 degrees to 85 degrees C operating range, is priced at $3.95. Samples are available now with volume production shipments beginning in Q4, 2008.
