The Swedish Trade Council and Swedbank present a joint study

The Swedish Trade Council in Russia together with Swedbank have done a study of
the business climate in Russia. The study shows that the number of Swedish
companies setting up a presence in Russia is increasing all the time and that
they are very positive to the opportunities Russia offers. However, there remain
considerable challenges, particularly corruption which is considered a problem. 

The study will be presented at a press conference on 8 October 2008.

Fredrik Häggström, the Swedish Trade Council's trade secretary, will present the
study. During the press conference, Raimo Valo head of Swedbank Russia will also
comment on companies setting up operations in Russia.
