Villingen-Schwenningen, 10 November 2008: NEXUS AG, Villingen-Schwenningen,
listed in Prime Standard, improved its sales from KEUR 21,389 to KEUR
23,988 (+12.1%) in the first nine months 2008 and achieved an improved
EBTDA of KEUR 4,630 compared to KEUR 4,480 (+3.0%) in the previous year.
The result after taxes improved from KEUR 1,065 to KEUR 1,168 (+9.6%),
while the result before taxes decreased to KEUR 1,190 following KEUR 1,493
(-20%). MEDOS AG is consolidated in these figures since 1 August 2008.

Sales in the core business, Healthcare Software, increased by 11% to KEUR
20,425 (previous year: KEUR 18,450) in the first nine months. The
Healthcare Service Division closed approx. 21% higher with sales of KEUR
3,563 following KEUR 2,939 in the previous year.

In the third quarter, sales of KEUR 8,626 were recorded following KEUR
8,150 in the previous year (+5.8%).
The operative cash flow is approx. 20% higher than the previous year's
level at KEUR 2,314 (previous year: 1,936). The foreign share of Group
sales was 36% in the first nine months compared to 42% in the previous
year.

NEXUS AG had equity capital of approx.  44.6 million and cash reserves in
the amount  of 9.8 million on 30 September 2008. Liquid funds, securities
and receivables amount to a total of  25.0 million and are not offset by
any essential financial liabilities. The equity capital rate was 77%.

NEXUS AG develops and sells modular software solutions with its divisions
'Clinical Information Systems' (CIS), 'Diagnostic Information Systems'
(DIS) and 'IT-Services' for international health care systems. NEXUS / CIS
accounts integrative solutions for hospitals and psychatries. Solutions of
NEXUS / DIS are covering special ward solutions for radiologists,
pathologists and gynaecology and intensive care. Introduction of NEXUS
software makes it possible to support medical processes digitally and
consequently improve patient treatment and reduce treatment costs.

More than 350 staff members in the NEXUS Group develop software and IT
solutions, with which approximately 73,000 users in 17 countries work.
