| Quelle: Global Clean Energy
DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - November 24, 2008) - Global Clean Energy, Inc. (OTCBB : GCEI ) is
pleased to announce that it has completed field testing of its Dredging
Pump (patent pending). With the help of Cascades Engineering and the
assistance of the city of Kingsey Falls, Quebec, the pumps were tested in
the city's water treatment center. In slurry fluids containing 30% to 50%
solids, the pumps were able to achieve a flow rate exceeding 300 US
gallons/minute. This rate compares favorably to traditional pumps which
average 100 US gpm. Following these successful tests arrangements are
currently being made to set up the pumps on-site at the UK Coal,
Pontrefract slurry site during the first week of December, in order to
commence removing the water and coal slurry from the site as per the
Company's business plan.
It is the intention of Global Clean Energy, Inc., to begin in the first
quarter of 2009 marketing additional applications of the Dredging Pump to
companies throughout North America. The Company has begun contacting
selected clients to develop applications to achieve more efficient and
clean methods of decontamination of waste sites as well as preparing feed
stocks for clean energy use.
