- The profit on ordinary activities was DKr 71.811m (DKr 112.185m in 2007), producing a return on shareholders' equity of 11.2%. - The profit before price adjustments and write-downs rose by 7.5% in relation to 2007. Expenses rose by 8.4%, of which nearly half can be ascribed to the bank's payments of commissions to the Danish Sector Fund. - Write-downs amounted to DKr 4.838m. The BANK of Greenland continues to show profits on its deposits, excellent liquidity and a liquidity adequacy in relation to the legal requirements of 165.3%. - In 2009, the bank expects profits before price adjustments and write-downs to remain at the same level as in 2008.
