Brightec, Inc., Retains The Winters Group to Represent PlayGlo(TM) in New England
| Quelle: Brightec, Inc.
SOUTH NATICK, MA--(Marketwire - July 21, 2009) - Brightec, Inc., (OTCBB : BRTE ) creator of
the world's first photographic quality glow-in-the-dark media, today
announced that it has retained The Winters Group of Somers, CT, to
represent their PlayGlo™ line of glow-in-the-dark puzzles and stickers
in New England.
After a successful introduction at the International Toy Fair in New York
City in February 2009 and test promotion the previous December, Brightec
decided to kick off their nationwide launch of PlayGlo puzzles and stickers
in its own backyard, and selected The Winters Group to help penetrate this
territory. The Company is currently working to identify additional rep
firms to bring PlayGlo to independent toy and gift stores throughout the
US.
The introductory offering of PlayGlo products includes six animal-themed
puzzles and four collections of stickers made with Brightec's patented
glow-in-the-dark media. The great color rendition and print quality of
these products belie the fact that they glow-in-the-dark -- no eerie green
cast or over-painted outlines. Yet the real magic occurs when viewed in the
dark where one sees the entire image as if backlit, something virtually
unachievable with currently available glow-in-the-dark products.
"The Winters Group calls on exactly the type of stores that we are looking
to be associated with," said Patrick Planche, President and CEO of
Brightec. "PlayGlo is a perfect fit for toy, gift, and book stores, as well
as tourist, museum, science center, aquarium and zoo shops. We thought it
was important that the rep firm we selected handled these. We feel The
Winters Group has the perfect combination of experience and enthusiasm, and
PlayGlo is a good complement to their current product line. We're looking
forward to working with their team and making significant inroads into the
New England marketplace in time for the holiday season."
Brightec's first puzzle collection features six 11" x 15", 100 piece,
animal-themed puzzles for children ages 6 and up, at a suggested retail
price of $9.99. Also being introduced under the PlayGlo brand, are
glow-in-the-dark stickers using Brightec's unique media. Each of the four
different sticker collections, with images that complement the puzzle line,
comes with repositionable backing, meaning the stickers can be applied to
almost any surface and then removed and relocated. The stickers have a
suggested retail price of $2.99.
PlayGlo puzzles and stickers are available to qualified retailers. All
PlayGlo products are manufactured in the USA.
