Carlsberg Finans A/S - Luxembourg as choice
of home Member State                       

Carlsberg Finans A/S hereby announces that Carlsberg Finans A/S has chosen      
Luxembourg as its home Member State in accordance with in Demark Section 1,     
subsection 4 of the Executive Order on Issuers duty to Provide Information and  
in Luxembourg Article 9 Section 9 of the law of January 11, 2008 and article 2  
of the Grand-ducal regulation of January 11, 2008 relating to the transparency  
requirements, implementing Article 2 (1) (i) of the Directive of European       
Parliament and the Council on the harmonisation of transparency requirements in 
relation to information about issuers whose securities are admitted to trading  
on a regulated market.                                                          

Carlsberg Finans A/S has February 1998 issued debt securities with a            
denomination per unit of GBP 1,000 (ISIN code XS0084333219) with a maturity of  
15 years and in December 2001 issued debt securities with a denomination per    
unit of GBP 1,000 (ISIN code XS0140072967) with a maturity of 10 years. The debt
securities are admitted to trading on Luxembourg Stock Exchange.                

An issuer of debt securities with the denomination per unit of at least EUR     
1,000 or the equivalent to EUR 1,000 at the date of the issue of denominated in 
a currency other than EUR shall choose a home Member State.
