Reference to the ELKO Grupa comment published in BNS o September 21, 2009 about computer this autumn sales trends

With reference to BNS questions, Regional Director for Baltic's of ELKO Grupa
JSC Guntis Tomsons comments about this autumn computer sales trend:
1) Taking in to account seasonality of computer business, summer unusually is
less active sales period than autumn;
2) In spite currently the positive trend is seen in computer sales, especially
for notebook, although total computer market in Latvia is not comparable still
with last year's volumes;
3) Trend for notebook sales is growing, but sales volumes for desktop computers
at present moment are approximately half of last year's volumes. Although
consider, that decrease of desktop computer share in total computer group was
noticeable also before economical downturn and it is expected, that this trend
will continue. Desktop computer share in total computer group currently is
about 40%.
4) Strong, increasing positions in computer market gaining netbook (small
portative personal computer with lower functionality) segment, which is now
especially demanded by customers because of its accessible price.
