TECHNOPOLIS MICROKATU PHASE FIVE ROOF RAISING IN KUOPIO  

Technopolis Plc is expanding its Kuopio Science Park operations. Phase 5 of the
Technopolis Microkatu facilities was initiated in June and the construction
work has proceeded quickly during the summer. The roof raising was celebrated
today in traditional fashion. Enfo Plc has signed a long term lease for the
entire facility that will be completed in December 2009. 

- These state of the art data center facilities will support Enfo's strategic
growth in the IT outsourcing market. Thanks to this new “green” data center we
are able to offer our clients more energy efficient services with an even
higher standard and quality. In the IT sector energy efficiency translates into
cost efficiency which means competitiveness, says Markku Utriainen, Production
Director of Enfo. 

- We already have office, production and laboratory facilities for over 120
client companies at Microkatu including a large range of conference, service
and restaurant facilities. The facility we now are constructing perfectly
supports the Technopolis concept and compliments the cluster of operating
environments in the Technopolis Kuopio Science Park. Enfo Plc is a strong IT
service company and an excellent partner for Technopolis, says the Director of
Kuopio operations Hannu Eronen. 

Technopolis has over 130 client companies in Kuopio. With this expansion
Technopolis in Kuopio will expand to 51 500 square meters. The cost estimate
for the construction work is approximately MEUR 2.0.
