Mueller Announces Temporary Layoff

SPRINGFIELD, Missouri, Dec. 18, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Paul Mueller Company (Pink Sheets:MUEL) announced a production layoff on Thursday, December 17, 2009, that was in conjunction with the plant holiday shutdown that has been scheduled for several weeks. The plant will reopen on Monday, January 11, 2010, for normal operations, as the Company continues to receive new orders for products and services. The Company expects to recall employees beginning January 11, 2010.
