VISTA, Calif., Jan. 6, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EcoBlu Products, Inc., (OTCBB:ECOB) announced today that it has signed Calvert Company, Inc. of Vancouver, WA as its first authorized affiliate. Calvert will manufacture private label glued laminated beams for EcoBlu Products, and will offer to the market its complete line of glued laminated beams including curved and arched, straight, fabricated trusses and custom products; all protected with EcoBlu's BLUWOOD(TM) and FRC(TM) (Fire Retardant Coating) technology.

Glulam production in the United States and Canada for the first half of 2008 was approximately 148 million board feet or approximately $885 million dollars, as reported by the APA.
