Hemköp names Ola Andersson as new President

Ola Andersson has been named as the new President of Hemköp, a company in the
Axfood group. Ola Andersson has long and extensive record of experience in the
retail food industry, including positions as business area manager for two major
ICA concepts and as head of products and purchasing for ICA Sverige AB.

Ola Andersson has served as business area head of ICA Supermarket, with some 480
stores, as well as business area manager for ICA Kvantum, with approximately 120
stores. He has also been product manager for the "Select" fast food concept at
Svenska Shell AB, with responsibility for the rollout of the "Select" concept in
Sweden, and head of products and purchasing at ICA Sverige AB. Since January
2009 he has been head of ICA's private label products.

Anders Strålman has been serving as acting President of Hemköp since September
2008 alongside his role as President and CEO of Axfood AB. Ola Andersson will
assume his position as President of Hemköp on 3 May and will be a member of
Axfood's Executive Committee.
