Flightstar Aircraft Services Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary


JACKSONVILLE, FL--(Marketwire - February 22, 2010) - Flightstar Aircraft Services (Flightstar), a leading provider of heavy aircraft maintenance and modifications, is pleased to announce that 2010 marks the company's 10-year anniversary. Founded in 2000 at the Jacksonville International Airport, the company has since steadily expanded its capabilities and size and in 2005 moved to a new facility at Cecil Commerce Center in Jacksonville, Florida to accommodate growing demand. In September of 2009, Flightstar announced another expansion with a planned 100,000 square foot facility that will include an Aircraft Paint Facility for narrow and wide-body aircraft, a Learning Center developed in conjunction with Florida State College at Jacksonville and additional space for the company's Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul operations.
