MARTELA CORORATION'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS' ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING
The Board of Directors elected by Martela Corporation's Annual General
meeting on March 16, 2010 had its first meeting after the Annual General
meeting and elected from among its members Heikki Ala-Ilkka as the Chair-
man and Pekka Martela as the Vice Chairman of the Board.
The Board has evaluated the independence of its members and determined that
Heikki Ala-Ilkka, Tapio Hakakari, Jori Keckman and Pinja Metsäranta are
independent both of the company and of the company's largest shareholders.
