Hamburg, April 14, 2010 - The Hamburg based shipping investment company
Vilmaris GmbH & Co. KGaA (ISIN DE000A0RAK01) has purchased its first
handysize dry bulk vessel (37.000 dwt) on the 14th of April 2010 from
Pancoast Trading S.A.. The ship was built in 2010 by Jiangsu Eastern
Shipyard in China. The vessel's specification matches highest technical
standards, thus commanding a premium for size and quality above smaller and
older vessels, which represent the average of the market segment
(Handysize-Index). The ship is chartered out to Pancoast Trading GmbH S.A.
for 14.000 US$/day for 36 month.
Vilmaris GmbH & Co. KGaA (ISIN DE000A0RAK01) was listed in the regulated
market of the Hamburg Stock Exchange on June 26, 2009. The Hamburg-based
shipping investment company has placed 30,100 registered shares with
limited transferability with institutional investors and indirectly with
private investors. Vilmaris was initiated and structured in close
cooperation between Lampe Corporate Finance GmbH, a subsidiary of Bankhaus
Lampe KG, and Montan Alternative Investment GmbH & Co. KG, a member of the
Hamburg-based Komrowski Group.
