Management change at Handelsbanken

Klas Tollstadius has been appointed head of Handelsbanken's contacts with public
authorities and the financial sector and also the internal corporate governance.
He will also be a member of the Bank's senior management team. Klas Tollstadius
is currently chief legal counsel at Handelsbanken Corporate Finance.

He takes up his new position on 1 April 2011 and succeeds Björn Börjesson who
will retire on that date.
