In accordance with the provision of Tryg’s Articles of Association on age limit of Supervisory Board Members, Bodil Nyboe Andersen, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee, will retire from Tryg's Supervisory Board in connection with the next Annual General Meeting which will be held on 14 April 2011.
Bodil Nyboe Andersen joined Tryg’s Supervisory Board in 2006. Bodil Nyboe Andersen is former Chairman of the Board of Governors of Danmarks Nationalbank (Central Bank of Denmark) and Director of Andelsbanken.
The Supervisory Board will recommend that Torben Nielsen, Governor of Danmarks Nationalbank, be appointed as new member of the Supervisory Board at the Annual General Meeting.
Since 1996, Torben Nielsen has been a member of the Board of Governors of Danmarks Nationalbank. However, he will resign from this position as of 31 March 2011. He is former Divisional Director and Executive Vice President of Unibank. Torben Nielsen is 63 years old and holds a degree in organisation and Economics.
