NQ Exploration Inc./Carheil Project-Selbaie District: Ag1 Zone Still Present Near Surface

LAVAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - June 6, 2011) - NQ Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NQE) is pleased to report the results of the last two drill holes of the winter exploration program at its Carheil project, Holes CA2011-16 and CA2011-17, which show that the Ag1 zone is still present near surface, at a vertical depth of 110 metres. The best grade associated with the Ag1 zone was obtained in Hole CA2011-17, with grades of 603.0 g/t Ag, 7.24% Cu and 1.27% Zn over 0.2 m in a highly silicified and albitized zone containing bands of sulphides.

These latest results reveal that the silver-bearing zones become more diffuse across the felsic unit, and more dependent on the degree of silicification and albitization. In these two last holes, the strongly silicified zones are smaller, narrower and less continuous. Hole CA2011-17 also suggests that the silver, copper and zinc are more closely related than in the deeper holes.

The best results obtained in these two holes were as follows:

1 The lengths shown are core length. On the basis of current information, true widths should be 70 to 80% of these lengths.

Hole CA2011-17 is the nearest-surface hole drilled by NQ Exploration Inc. to date. In light of the data obtained, an additional series of shallow holes will be drilled on a tight drill grid to enhance the understanding of the distribution of the high-grade zones and assess their economic potential.

Assays were performed by the ALS Chemex laboratory in Val-d'Or and Accurassay in Thunder Bay. The samples are assayed using two methods: 1 – for gold, first by fire assay with an FA-AA finish, then for results over 1 g/t rerun by fire assay with gravity finish; 2 – for 35 elements using ICP (ME-ICP41), then, for results over 100 ppm silver and/or 10,000 ppm Cu/Mo/Pb/Zn, rerun using the ore grade method (OG46) with aqua regia digestion and ICP-AES or AAS finish.
