NCC secures order to construct highway in Norway for SEK 495 million

NCC Construction Norway will construct a seven-kilometer, four-lane
highway from Gulli to Holmene in Vestfold in Norway. The order is valued
at approximately SEK 495 million and will be registered in the second
quarter of 2011.

NCC's project is part of the long-term plan to construct a four-lane
highway which, when completed, will extend from Oslo to Kristiansand.
The section that NCC will now construct will result in a fully unified
highway through the Vestvold region. In total, NCC is involved in
construction of a seven-kilometer section of highway, eight bridges,
four culverts, one kilometer of roadway and three planned intersections.

“An important factor in being commissioned for this assignment is that
NCC recently acquired the Carl C Fon AS company, which is located in
Vestfold and conducts most of its operations there,” says Knut Liavaag,
District Manager, NCC Construction Norway, “which means that this
company will play a key role during construction of the highway.”

Work will begin during summer 2011 and is scheduled for completion in
autumn 2014. The order is being registered in the second quarter of
2011.
