After more than 47 years of faithful service in Solar, Chief Executive Director (CED) of Solar Danmark A/S, Søren Larsen, has chosen to resign as of 31 March 2012.
We take this opportunity to thank Søren Larsen for his many years of committed and great efforts in Solar.
To replace Søren Larsen, Jens Andersen has been appointed new CED of Solar Danmark as of 1 April 2012. At the same time, he will join the Solar Management Team.
Jens Andersen is 42 years old and currently holds a management position in Solar Danmark.
Jens Andersen has worked for Solar since 1998. The first many years as Finance and Supply Chain Director in Solar Danmark, before he as of 25 March 2010 became the acting CED of Solar Deutschland for approximately one year. Subsequently, he returned to a management position in Solar Danmark.
Through the years, Jens Andersen has gained a great amount of insight into the wholesale business with thorough knowledge of customers as well as suppliers. Together with the Danish organisation, Jens Andersen will work on expanding the Danish subsidiary’s already strong position.
