Opus Prodox AB (publ) today announces that an agreement has been signed with A-Katsastus Group Oy, where Opus will become the main supplier of vehicle inspection equipment for the A-Katsastus Group in several countries.
Opus has been supplying equipment to A-Katsastus since 2007. This new agreement further strengthens this cooperation, whereby A-Katsastus agrees to buy the majority of its equipment needs from Opus. The agreement is for an indefinite period and will be automatically extended on a yearly basis.
A-Katsastus, with approximately 2,100 employees and 285 vehicle inspection stations distributed over eight countries, is Northern Europe’s leading private vehicle inspection company. The group’s turnover in 2010 amounted to approximately SEK 1.5 billion. A-Katsastus is in an expansive phase and is planning to build a number of new vehicle inspection stations in Europe in the coming years. Amongst others, the company has the ambition to reach a major market share in the newly deregulated Swedish vehicle inspection market under their own brand, Carspect.
