They give a comprehensive overview of Solvay's activities in 2011, including pro forma figures to paint a clear picture of the impressive transformation the Solvay Group undertook by acquiring Rhodia. The Annual Report is complemented by the Sustainability Indicators and Progress Report 2011.
Last year's edition of this comprehensive yearly reporting, in line with the Global Reporting Initiative, was rated among the finalists in last year's Award for the Best Belgian Sustainability Report. The jury hailed the report for:
- its matrix of materiality of the Group;
- the clearness of its reporting's policy;
- the key performance indicators, encompassing among others environment, energy and stakeholders;
- the clearness in the sustainability targets for 2012 & 2020 and
- the external verification by Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The new edition of the Sustainability Indicators and Progress Report goes even further.
