Universal Bioenergy's NDR Energy Group Expands National Presence, Launches New Offices in Houston

NDR Plans to Strengthen Presence in U.S. Energy Capital for Major Growth and Expansion

IRVINE, Calif., May 8, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Universal Bioenergy Inc., (OTCMarkets:UBRG), a publicly traded independent diversified energy company, that markets and distributes natural gas, propane, petroleum and coal, announced that NDR Energy Group, its subsidiary located in Charlotte, North Carolina, opened new offices in the Houston, Texas area. The new offices were opened as part of its major expansion and growth strategy, refine its national footprint and to meet the future demands of its growing customer base. The offices are located in the prestigious master planned community of The Woodlands, just north of Houston.

Houston is America's fourth largest city, and is recognized worldwide for its energy industry including oil and gas exploration, basic petroleum refining, petrochemical production and renewable energy sources including wind and solar. Major energy companies in Houston include Conoco Phillips, Exxon Mobil, Halliburton and Shell Oil Company. The Woodlands area features several major corporate campuses, including Chevron, Phillips, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Baker Hughes, CB&I, US Oncology, Hewitt Associates and Maersk Line.

NDR Energy's President Ken Harris states, "As CEO of NDR Energy Group, I am pleased to announce that on May 1, 2012, we have officially opened our new offices in "The Woodlands", in Texas. As a result of this development, we now have a physical presence in two of the energy epicenters in the U.S., Houston and Charlotte. This will help us better serve our expanding customer base and accelerate our growth in this dynamic region."

Harris goes on to say, "This is a critical development in light of our many contractual and informal relationships with natural gas producers, suppliers and end-users in the Houston area. We recently consummated a natural gas supply agreement with one of the largest independent natural gas producers in the world, which has its corporate offices in The Woodlands near ours. Houston is an excellent strategic choice as it allows us to increase our direct personal interface with that natural gas producer and many other energy giants in the Houston area. Our presence in Houston is crucial, and as our capabilities grow, we realize that the energy industry is relationship driven, and for our future growth, there is no substitute for us being located there."
