Canadian Spirit Resources Inc. Announces Appointment of CEO

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 10, 2012) - Canadian Spirit Resources Inc. ("CSRI" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:SPI) (OTCBB:CSPUF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Alfred Sorensen as Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of the Corporation effective immediately. On April 2, 2012 the Corporation announced that Mr. Sorensen had been appointed Interim CEO and he will now assume this role on a permanent basis.

Don Gardner, former CEO, will remain a director of the Corporation and will be available in an advisory capacity to assist in the implementation of the Corporation's strategic plan.
