Vilnius, Lithuania, 2012-11-21 10:03 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On November 21, 2012 the National Control Commission for Prices and Energy (hereinafter – Commission) approved AB Lietuvos Dujos natural gas transmission and distribution services tariffs and natural gas tariffs for household customers that will come into effect from January 1, 2013, which were set by the Board of Directors of AB Lietuvos dujos on November 9, 2012 (Minutes No 9). Also the Commission approved, that AB Lietuvos dujos, pursuant to the provisions of the Law on the Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal of the Republic of Lithuania and secondary legislation, in 2013 will collect the Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal (hereinafter - LNGT) funds from the transmission system users, applying LNGT-related extra tariff (surcharge), set by the Commission. Those collected funds will be transferred to the beneficiary – the company that was appointed by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania to implement the LNGT Project (AB Klaipėdos Nafta).
New natural gas tariffs will be published on AB Lietuvos dujos website www.dujos.lt.
