Results from Probi’s Clinical Studies in Immune and Gut Health

The results from Probi’s two clinical studies conducted in 2012, one in immune
health and one in gut health, are now available. Preliminary analyses of the
data show that the results from the studies did not meet expectations. Probi
will consequently not apply to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) for
health claims within the EU at this point.

”We have gained important new knowledge from the studies and the data will now
be analysed in more detail to guide continued clinical development within immune
and gut health, areas where we have previously demonstrated very good results”,
says Michael Oredsson, CEO at Probi.
