scanning, through its subsidiary LMI Technologies

Munich, May 2, 2013. AUGUSTA Technologie AG (ISIN DE000A0D6612), a
specialist in digital image processing and optical sensors, today acquired
all of the shares in 3D3 Solutions Ltd., based in Vancouver/Canada, through
its subsidiary LMI Technologies. 3D3 Solutions is a young, innovative
producer of hardware and software for scanning, stitching, and building
high quality 3D scan data. 'As a leading company in the field of 3D mesh
processing and visualization, we have further expanded our expertise to
enter new 3D markets through our acquisition of 3D3 Solutions. The LMI
Group will derive lasting benefits from the know how of 3D3 Solutions such
as the opportunity to enter the fast-growing 3D printing market,' explained
Terry Arden, CEO of LMI Technologies Inc.

The profitable company achieved sales revenues of about 1.2 million Euro
with an EBITDA of approximately 17 percent in the 2012 financial year. The
company now has ten employees. The purchasing price for the acquisition
includes a three-year, growth-oriented earn-out component. The purchase
price will be paid in cash. 'AUGUSTA is adhering to its successful
expansion course of recent years with its purchase of 3D3 Solutions.
Despite the altered ownership, the aim for AUGUSTA remains the wish to grow
through acquisitions apart from organic growth,' noted Berth Hausmann, CEO
of AUGUSTA Technologie AG. 3D3 Solutions will be integrated in the
consolidated figures of the AUGUSTA Group from May 1, 2013.
