CEO's Statement: Breakthrough in APAC and growth with high profitability
"I'm delighted that our agreement with Hutchison Global Communications (HGC)
already in this quarter contributed to our brisk revenue growth in APAC. We
achieved growth in all three regions in the quarter, with a total sales increase
of nearly 9% measured in Swedish kronor, or nearly 15% adjusted for exchange
rate fluctuations. I'm pleased to conclude that total sales for the quarter are
the company's highest ever. Our profitability continues to be very strong with
an operating margin of nearly 17%. Continued investments in product development
resulted in us presenting innovative new products in the quarter. Our launches
include a Mobile Fronthaul offering and our new iAccess solution. It's clear to
me that we are well ahead in these key future-oriented segments. We made a good
start to the year and are continuing to focus on geographical expansion,
innovative products and efficient operations."
