FINNLINES PLC APPOINTS THE NEW CEO AND PRESIDENT AND ELECTS THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Today the Board of Directors of Finnlines Plc has accepted Mr Uwe Bakosch’s request to leave his function as the CEO and President of Finnlines Plc, Helsinki. The Board of Directors respectfully accepts his request as of today and thanks Mr Uwe Bakosch for his valuable contributions during his 4 ½ years in the CEO and President function.
The Board of Directors has appointed Mr Emanuele Grimaldi as the new CEO and President of Finnlines Plc. The Board of Directors has elected Mr Jon-Aksel Torgersen as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors as Mr Grimaldi has step down as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
At the same time the Board of Directors appreciates and supports Mr Bakosch’s wish to entirely concentrate on heading Finnlines Deutschland Gmbh as of November 5, 2013.
