Saint-Ouen (France), 24 September 2014 - Gfi Informatique announces that it has acquired the Oracle-JDE business of the iORGA Group.
Gfi Informatique acquires a strategic position in Oracle-JDE solutions
The Oracle-JDE business taken over has a headcount of nearly 70 and posts revenue of some €9 million for double-digit profitability. Around €7 million of revenue is generated in France, with Spain and Portugal accounting for the balance. Its activities cover both integration/migration as well as applications maintenance. For its integration and migration activities, the company has two centres of expertise, in Paris and Spain. It also has two highly specialised service centres, the largest in Lyon with another in Lisbon, providing third-party applications maintenance and support services.
The company is one of leading company in the French market for the integration of Oracle-JDE solutions. This acquisition will boost Gfi Informatique's presence in ERP integration through its highly skilled workforce and recognised product.
Commenting on the deal, Vincent Rouaix, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gfi Informatique, said: "This acquisition enables Gfi Informatique to take a leadership position in JD Edwards (JDE) services. It will also enable us to strengthen our ERP integration offer with a recognised product in strong evolution in the French and Iberian market".
