Appointment of Technical Director - Energenie

The Board of Sandal plc, the designer, developer and manufacturer of electronic and home automation products is pleased to announce the appointment of Colin Howlett as Technical Director for the Energenie division.

Colin Howlett has spent more than 20 years working in the technology markets and joins Sandal from Sentec Ltd, a company which delivers commercially successful technology driven innovation to its partners and clients in the smart grid, smart buildings, automotive and connected consumer industries. At Sentec Colin was VP for Smart Grid Systems and lead multiple business lines including the Aquiba smart metering business and the MicroMonitor custom silicon chip business targeting the smart buildings market.

As part of Colin's remuneration package and in recognition of the key role Colin will play in the development of Energenie and its product he will be entitled to participate in the current Sandal plc EMI Share Option Plan in due course.
