The U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) today announced Commit to Carry, a new educational campaign that provides concealed carry permit holders and legally armed citizens with practical resources to help make responsible carry a consistent part of everyday life.

Commit to Carry leads with education and interactive tools that help people better understand their carry options, strengthen their knowledge and develop responsible habits. As they progress, participants can discover additional USCCA training, self-defense resources and support for the next steps in their self-defense journey.

“Choosing to carry a firearm for personal protection comes with serious responsibility,” said Mike Seeklander, USCCA Director of Education and Training. “Commit to Carry is about helping people turn that decision into a commitment to keep learning, training and building responsible habits.”

The Commit to Carry Journey

Commit to Carry is designed to meet people wherever they are in their concealed carry journey and help them move from understanding their options to developing responsible, consistent habits.

1. Start with education. Participants begin with the Top 5 CCW Setups guide, which explores common concealed carry methods and important considerations for each. Because there is no single carry method that works for everyone, the resource helps individuals consider factors such as body type, wardrobe, lifestyle and daily routine when identifying a setup that works for them.

2. Build their Carry IQ. Participants download the USCCA Mobile App and take the 30-Day CarryIQ Challenge, which uses small, practical daily activities to strengthen concealed carry knowledge and help turn responsible carry into a consistent habit.

3. Discover what’s next. As participants build their knowledge and confidence, they can explore additional USCCA education, training and self-defense resources and learn how USCCA Membership can provide ongoing support and peace of mind throughout their self-defense journey.

Commit to Carry reflects USCCA’s broader mission to help responsibly armed Americans protect themselves and their loved ones through education, training and preparation. By leading with practical value, the campaign helps people move from curiosity to confidence, and from choosing to carry to committing to carry responsibly.
