LOS ANGELES, Oct. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Disbo, a settlement disbursement and trust accounting platform for personal injury law firms, announced an integration with Filevine, a legal case management platform. Firms can use Filevine case data to manage disbursements through Disbo and send payments by check or ACH. Payment records, documentation, and three-way reconciliation are managed in one workflow.
Disbo also connects to QuickBooks, allowing reconciled disbursements to post to the firm’s books without duplicate data entry.
For many personal injury firms, settlement disbursement requires teams to prepare payment information, issue checks or ACH payments, track payment status, organize documents, and reconcile activity across systems. Disbo brings these steps together while allowing firms to choose the payment method that fits each recipient.

Firms can manage payments to clients, medical providers, and referring counsel, attach documentation, track payment activity, and produce a three-way reconciliation record for trust account audits.
The integration also supports firms navigating trust-account recordkeeping requirements. Under California’s Client Trust Account Protection Program, attorneys responsible for client trust accounts must complete an annual self-assessment. Attorneys selected by the State Bar must also complete a compliance review conducted by a certified public accountant.
