Changes in the Supervisory Council of AB Artea bankas

Tomas Okmanas, who has served as a member of the Supervisory Council of Artea Bank since 2 February 2023, has decided to step down from the Supervisory Council. T. Okmanas made this decision taking into account the recent changes in the composition of the Supervisory Council of Artea Bank.

“Over almost four years on the Supervisory Council, I have seen the bank renew its strategy, become Artea, grow and boldly pursue ambitious goals. Today, I believe in Artea Bank’s potential even more than when I joined the Supervisory Council. The bank has a strong team and shareholders united by the ambition to grow, create value and deliver on a long-term vision.

The Supervisory Council of the bank is now being renewed. With the European Central Bank’s permission for Eglė Eidimtaitė to hold the position of member of the Supervisory Council, I have no doubt that Tesonet will be even more actively involved in the bank’s life, with renewed energy. I feel it is the right moment for me to make way for a new member. I leave the Supervisory Council with confidence: the bank is in good hands,” says Tomas Okmanas.

18 November 2026 will be the last day T. Okmanas holds the position of member of the Supervisory Council of Artea Bank.

“We are sincerely grateful to Tomas Okmanas for the shared journey in building a leader in Lithuanian banking. Having Tesonet’s Chief Investment Officer, Eglė Eidimtaitė, on the Supervisory Council shows how seriously the shareholder views the bank’s future. Eglė brings in-depth investment and technology expertise, and together with her, we will continue to work closely with all the bank’s shareholders, including Tesonet. For our clients and investors, this is a clear signal that the bank’s direction remains stable. Our goal remains unchanged: to create sustainable value for our clients, investors, employees and society,” says Valdas Vitkauskas, Chairman of the Supervisory Council of Artea Bank.
