The resulting medical countermeasure against radiation injury will be thermostable, administered by minimally-trained personnel or caregivers or self-administered, and discarded as sharps-free waste, thus enabling rapid deployment in emergency scenarios and addressing an unmet medical need for Acute Radiation Syndrome treatment.
