SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 16, 1998(PRIMEZONE) -- Wilshire Associates Incorporated today announced that Steve Klein has joined the Wilshire Asset Management division as Vice President, responsible for marketing its four mutual funds to retail and institutional investors, including the firm's 5-Star rated Wilshire Target Large Company Growth Fund (NASDAQ:DTLGX)(1). Morningstar has awarded this fund a 5-Star rating for the three-year and five-year periods, ended September 30, 1998. The fund is in the large growth category and is one of 349 such funds.
Klein has substantial brokerage and investment advisory experience. He previously served as Vice President of Compliance for Associated Securities Corp. and Senior Vice President of Financial Network Investment Corporation. Klein was also Senior Examiner for the California Department of Corporations, Securities Regulation Division.
