Tecona Holding is an agency for project and production management that is involved in maintenance management, maintenance engineering, construction management and inspections. The agency operates in the areas of civil engineering, steel construction, mechanical engineering and Electrical measuring and Control Engineering and Process Automation (EmeRA) in a variety of sectors, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, energy and infrastructure. Tecoma has more than 100 employees and an annual turnover of approximately NLG 15 million (more than EUR 6.8 million). The proposed take-over is in line with the strategy of the division Heijmans Industrial Services to strengthen its position in the field of major long-term turn-key maintenance contracts for clients in the industrial and (petro)chemical sector. Within Heijmans Industrial Services, Tecona will continue to be active in the market with its own identity and management. The works councils of the companies involved have meanwhile been asked for their recommendations, and the unions have been informed of the proposed take-over.
