Nokia Year 2000 Readiness Report

Nokia production facilities were also assessed during the Millennium weekend and no critical issues were discovered. Production resumed after the New Year's celebrations in factories according to the normal operational schedule, which had no special Millennium break.

Year 2000 Leap Year

The leap year issue is an integral part of Nokia's Year 2000 project. Nokia will therefore closely monitor the leap day developments globally applying the same processes and plans that were implemented for the Millennium.

The Nokia Year 2000 Project will come to an end when the leap day 29 February 2000 has passed. Thereafter any Year 2000 issues will be integrated into normal Nokia procedures and practices.
